...I have been so busy with photography lately that I haven't had an afternoon to just sit and tinker with something...anything! I have had this project ready to go for some time now, I only needed an afternoon and cooperating kiddos to complete. And ladies and gentlemen (well, probably not gentlemen), I FINISHED another project today. Only 22 more on my list.....
I got this idea from my friend, Beth. Take an old laundry bucket that you would normally discard or use outside...
...mod podge scrapbook paper around. I used 3 full 12x12 sheets. (NOTE: a pattern that is up and down will allow for your seams to look better!)
....and then sew a liner! There will be NO tutorial on how to make this. I am not a seamstress and let's just say....I hope nobody EVER looks at the bottom!
For the princess!
For our buddy!
I love it because it holds a TON of his balls!
Way cute! Those will look awesome in their new rooms. YEAH
ReplyDeleteSUper cute! They turned out great.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. I saw it on Beth's site and have wanted to several ever since. Just tring to find the time. This only makes me more motivated!
ReplyDeleteWe are related...why can't I be as crafty and come up with something cute??? Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I was creative like you. I'm jealous of all your crafty ideas.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! We need those 'projects' to keep us sane, don't we? Mine is painting rooms right now~trying to get rid of dull, flat paint.

ReplyDeleteSooooo very cute idea!!! I love this! I have made fabric buckets before but they are kind of a pain, especially if you dont have a pattern!! This looks easier and cuter than how mine came out!! Thanks for posting this fun idea :o) Feel free to stop by my blog at the Childrens Nest!
ReplyDeleteSo clever!!! I posted a link to your project on Craft Gossip Sewing: http://sewing.craftgossip.com/tutorial-large-storage-buckets/2009/07/05/

I popped over from U Create too, and I was wondering if FABRIC could be M-podged on the outside of the bucket just as well??? Hmmmmm...I might give it a try
